Thinking is the way we talk to ourselves, and we need to start thinking about what are thoughts are. We consider scriptures such as 1 Corinthians 2 v 11 and Proverbs 23 v 5 which tell us more about thinking and the importance of a heart that is full of faith!

We start by looking at Psalm 37 v 8 which tells us not to worry or fret because that only causes us harm. Fretting talks of anxiety and worry, and these are both attacks on the mind. They can distract us from what God is trying to do and the things that He wants for us.

In this episode, we look at some of the scriptures that tell us how to live our lives from a correct position of thankfulness and joy. Philippians 4 v 6 tells to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, py prayer and petition, with thanksgiving and, present your requests to God.

We learn about the power and the testing talked about in Luke 4 v 1, and the fact that we have to be tested to see if we can be trusted with the power. We look at the Gifts of the Spirit, and understand that they are developed in a realm of risk taking and a willingness to learn. From Timothy 1 v 6, we can see that we have to stir up the gifts, because if we don’t use them then we will loose them!

We have to believe the Word in our heart, and then act upon it using our mouth. Our heart must line up with the Word, and then with our mouth we make the proclamation.

We are made up of spirit, soul and body, and we have to make sure that we are not being ruled by the wrong area.
