Doubt and Faith

Unbelief is really a form of belief. Unbelief is not non belief but wrong belief. Unbelief is believing the wrong way. God’s biggest work in the life of Christians is to get us to change our believing. Right thinking is called faith – taking God at His word. Doubt is wrong belief. E.g. If you doubt you are saved, you believe you are lost. It you doubt your healing, you believe in your symptoms. If you doubt the certainty of success, you  believe in the possibility of failure.

Right thinking is called faith – taking God at His word. Doubt is wrong belief. E.g. If you doubt you are saved, you believe you are lost. It you doubt your healing, you believe in your symptoms. If you doubt the certainty of success, you  believe in the possibility of failure. Wrong belief will justify failure, excuse sin, glorify sickness, accept defeat. It cannot please God. Wrong belief ties the hands of the One who, “could do no might works because of their . . . “

Ask yourself, “My present believing, is it right or wrong? Is it fear, defeat and failure, worry or self-pity, glorifying of sickness or criticism of others?”

OR

“Is it right believing, based on God’s word, claiming His promises, accepting His abundant supply?” Remember Solomon said, “As he thinks in his heart (or believes) so is he.” – Proverbs 23 v 7

Or as the One greater than Solomon said, “As you have believed so be it done unto you.” – Matthew 8 v 13
